The soft-touch flexible gripper applies the principles of bionics to mimic the action of an octopus tentacle wrapping around the object being grabbed, enabling encapsulated grasping of objects. With centimeter-level adaptability and versatility, it can be used for objects of different sizes and shapes. It can to some extent solve the problem of large-scale automation production of irregular, fragile and vulnerable items.
